We are looking for more people to join to bring their pets to nursing homes
and schools. We try and place as many animals as possible in foster
care to evaluate the animals before they go to a new home situation.
We are always in need of foster homes for mostly cats and
sometimes dogs. Permanent homes for feral and semi feral cats and can and
dry cat food is also needed.
People to assist at fundraisers and pet adoptions are
always welcome.

I, , hereafter referred to as the adopter; hereby agree that the above described animal is being adopted by me solely as a pet for myself and/or my immediate family. I agree that I will not sell, give away or otherwise dispose of said animal to any person(s), dealer, retailer,auction, institute or any other entity for any reason.
If at a later date I am unable or unwilling to keep this pet, I agree to first contact Katskill Mountain Critters and give them the option to reclaim said pet at no charge.
I hereby agree to care for the above described pet in a
humane and responsible manner and to provide it with clean and adequate
shelter, food, water and veterinary care. I further agree that said pet
shall reside inside my home and shall not be allowed to roam freely.
I hereby agree that this pet shall wear a collar or harness
with identification tags at all times.
We require that cats be kept indoors. Dogs should have a
fenced in yard.
I hereby agree that the adoption fee of $ helps to cover the expense of neutering, worming, shots, and caring for the animals and also includes the spay/neuter deposit which is required by NYS law.
I hereby understand and agree that Katskill Mountain Critters makes
no representations or warranties,expressed or implied, about the above
mentioned animal's temperament.
We do not adopt sick or aggressive animals. However, as we
are not veterinaries, we can not guarantee their health or
temperament.
We strongly recommend that you take your new pet to a
veterinarian for a check up and any shots it may need.
Katskill Mountain Critters is hereby absolved from any liability or
future damages or injuries caused by said animal.
There are no refunds of any pet adoption fees.
