This poor kitten was recovered from a farm, which had many cats and kittens. This was one with the worst eye infection. It was too weak and died a few days later at the vet’s office. Unfortunately, the owners were never charged with animal cruelty.

This ring neck dove was attached by a dog and escaped. It was unable to eat, and had to be tube fed for a couple of weeks, and has since recovered fully from its ordeal.

This cat was one that we received the call to late. She had already been hit by a car and killed. We did not find the two kittens that were reported to have been beside her on the road.

Many rescuers not only handle domestic animals but also wild life. This piebald fawn as you can see was born deformed. By the time the property owner realized something was wrong and called us, it was too late, it had been three days without nursing due to a sever over bit (malocclusion), and twisted legs which made it impossible to stand for more then a few seconds. She was euthanized a few hours later.

Before
After

Here was a situation where the rescuers needed to get help with the animals in their care. Many people start out with good intentions but get over whelmed quickly and do not realize that it can be very time consuming and expensive, especially dealing with the special needs animals. This is what our organizations main focus at this time is, helping the ones that need it the most.
