Chantilly is a white spayed female cat approx. 2 years old. We got her after she was thrown into a swimming pool full of water because she went to steal a bologna sandwich from a woman. She no longer is starving, but still has the habit of needing to steal food off the table and in the garbage. She needs a home with people who will work with her in a kind way and over look her bad habits. Adopt

This handsome fellow is a purebred male flame point himmy. The vet had to shave him totally, because he was so severely matted and had sores from his extreme matted condition. The vet assured me it will grow back. He is about four years old and has an attitude but is improving each day. Gets alone with other cats but is afraid of dogs and I would prefer an adult home for him. He must be an inside cat only and references and home inspection are required. Adopt

These young adult cats were all dumped together in front of the entrances to a million dollar gated community. A kind couple who do not live in that community notified us of seeing a couple cats sitting at the front gate and to our surprise when we arrive found eight very hungry cats come running. They are all real sweet under a year old and just love attention. Please help, if you cannot adopt, we are in desperate need of can and dry cat food. Adopt

These precious kitties were abandoned in an apartment for days before help arrived. They were near death however seem to be improving. Mom is a calico approx. one year old the kittens look like about five weeks old however some are much older. There are eight kittens; however, I do not think they are all from this cat. Anyone able to give a foster or permanent inside home to any of these cats would be greatly appreciated. We are also in desperate need or can and dry cat food. Adopt

Lucky Four (4) year old neutered DSH cat. He is de-clawed in the front and is a wonderful loving cat that is timid with new people but he eventually comes around. Needs a quiet home with no other animals or small children. Please contact foster mom Tonya Wishart 845-439-3520, if you can give him a good home. Adopt

Bear Approximately 5 years old. His original owner adopted him as a very young kitten from his local ASPCA. He is neutered and declawed . . He remarried and his wife is severly allergic to cats. and the spca is full and can not take him back at this time. A cat like this would not do well in a shelter (cage) situation. Bear is very reserved at first, in fact hiding for the first week or so, but will come around. He is very sweet and loving. He loves to be groomed and petted, but will not tolerate it when his belly is touched. He hates that pine litter, but is very clean with the clay based litter. Adopt

Click for a larger image Cats These cats were an abandonment case where a mentally challenged person's house was condemned and the cats left behind. Six cats all look the same, which were starving at the time have since been spayed/neutered and are ready for new homes. These cats had been dressed up and treated like dolls as you can see from the pictures. Very sweet and loving cats. Prefer adult homes and as always must be inside cats only. Adopt
